Kegam Kara Jewellery has been serving customers from the Melbourne CBD since 2004, providing jewellery polishing, plating, resizing and repair services with an emphasis on reliable workmanship and straightforward service.

With over 40 years of experience in the jewellery industry, Kegam brings a practical understanding of restoration, finishing and repair work across gold, silver, platinum, palladium and selected base metals. His work is supported by an extensive range of machines and hand-held tools used to restore the appearance and presentation of precious metals.

The workshop specialises in polishing, plating, ring resizing, repairs, sand blasting and post-casting jewellery finishing. Whether a piece needs a cleaner finish, a better fit or careful restoration after years of wear, the aim is to provide a result that is well presented and suitable for ongoing use.

Customers are welcome to visit the workshop during business hours, so an enquiry is not always necessary before coming in. For clients outside the Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs, suitable jewellery work can also be mailed in, provided return postage arrangements are included.

Selected work such as ring sizing, polishing and rhodium plating may also be available with same-day service.

Please note that the workshop does not work on watches, stainless steel items or hard gold plating.
